Cheza Kwa Tumaini Benefit Concert [Nov. 11]

In case you missed out on Millennium Village Project’s (MVP) SPECTACULAR event last year, Cheza Kwa Tumaini is Swahili for “Dance for Hope,” and it is the main event for Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Week.
Cheza Kwa Tumaini is a benefit show with a diverse range of talented performers combined with the chance to win some amazing prizes and enjoy some delicious snacks!!
All proceeds go towards raising money for our own Millennium Village!

Millennium Development Goals Week [Nov. 9th-12th]
Millennium Village Project (MVP) is collaborating with various other student organizations to raise awareness and work towards achieving the UN’s 8 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs):
1. End Poverty and Hunger
2. Universal Education
3. Gender Equality
4. Child Health
5. Maternal Health
6. Combat HIV/AIDS
7. Environmental Sustainability
8. Global Partnership
MVP is partnering with GlobeMed, Health Focus, Carolina Women’s Center, Women Experiencing Learning and Leadership (WELL), Nourish International, Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC), Carolina Hunger Education and Activism Project (CHEAP), and many other organizations to create a fun-filled week!
